Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Manager for an MEP contracting and construction business based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on expanding market presence, building strong industry relationships, and supporting the company’s growth in the MEP and construction space.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and pursue fresh business prospects within the MEP contracting and construction market.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients, consultants, developers, and other important stakeholders in the industry.
- Create and implement business development strategies that support the company’s expansion goals.
- Monitor market movements, competitor actions, and upcoming tenders or projects across the region.
- Manage pre-qualification and registration activities for new clients and consultants.
- Work closely with estimation, proposal, and technical teams to prepare and submit bids.
- Represent the organization at trade events, exhibitions, and professional networking platforms.
- Compile and share periodic updates on pipeline progress, opportunities, and market insights with senior leadership.
- Support commercial negotiations and assist in finalizing contracts with management involvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.
- At least 5 to 8 years of business development experience in MEP contracting or construction is needed.
- Prior experience in the UAE market is mandatory.
- A well-established network across construction, MEP, and consultancy circles is preferred.
- Strong ability in negotiation, communication, and presentations is essential.
- English fluency is required; Arabic language ability will be an added advantage.
