Role Summary
The Business Development Manager for Cyber Security is responsible for accelerating revenue growth and broadening Alnafitha IT’s cybersecurity business across Saudi Arabia. The position owns the practice commercially, leads a team of Technical Sales Professionals, builds go-to-market plans, manages senior customer and partner relationships, and ensures the cybersecurity portfolio is positioned effectively in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of revenue and margin goals for the cybersecurity practice across assigned accounts and territories.
- Design and implement go-to-market plans for cybersecurity offerings spanning IT infrastructure, cloud security, ATP, network security, line-of-business security, endpoint protection, and security appliances.
- Build and sustain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, with focus on new customer acquisition and account expansion.
- Explore new segments, industry verticals, and partnership opportunities aligned with Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s digital and security priorities.
- Guide, coach, and develop a team of Technical Sales Professionals focused on cybersecurity solutions.
- Define targets, KPIs, and growth plans for team members, while conducting regular performance reviews and mentoring sessions.
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and C-level stakeholders in target accounts.
- Manage the complete sales journey from lead qualification to proposal, negotiation, and contract finalization, while maintaining a strong customer experience.
- Act as executive sponsor for strategic accounts to support customer retention, satisfaction, and upsell growth.
- Prepare and manage the cybersecurity practice business plan, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Track market changes, competitor activity, and emerging threats to sharpen positioning and differentiation.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure the practice portfolio matches customer and market requirements.
- Contribute to internal cybersecurity content such as service catalogues, case studies, and knowledge-base material.
- Manage relationships with cybersecurity vendors and technology partners, including joint planning and co-selling activities.
- Maintain required certifications and specializations to support partner status and business growth.
- Represent the company at forums, seminars, conferences, and vendor events to strengthen brand visibility in the cybersecurity market.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Must hold either CISSP or CISM certification.
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
- MBA or an equivalent business management qualification is preferred.
- At least 12 years of experience in IT sales or business development, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role within cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets in enterprise cybersecurity sales in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
- Strong domain knowledge across identity management, firewalls, advanced threat protection, data loss prevention, cloud security, email security, and endpoint protection.
- Experience leading and growing technical sales teams, with strong coaching and people management ability.
- Good understanding of the competitive environment, partner ecosystem, and market positioning in the KSA cybersecurity sector.
- Excellent strategic thinking, commercial judgment, and results orientation.
- Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High ownership, accountability, integrity, and professionalism.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
