Role Overview
This position is for a Business Development Manager in broking at Ongole. The role focuses on strengthening partner relationships, driving business growth, and supporting sales activities across insurance and related wealth products.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal teams to address customer and client concerns and close issues efficiently.
- Consistently achieve or surpass the monthly business targets assigned by the company.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with current clients to expand revenue opportunities.
- Identify and develop new business through cross-selling, upselling, and mutual fund opportunities.
- Service existing partnerships and act as a support point for partner-related activities.
- Train partner employees and help them understand products and processes.
- Provide sales assistance to partner teams to help improve conversion and business outcomes.
Requirements
- 1 to 7 years of experience in broking, brokerage, insurance broking, or a closely related domain.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in life insurance within a partner-led setup.
- Strong knowledge of wealth management concepts and industry practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust-based client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and also contribute effectively in a team environment.
- Good product understanding and the capability to support business partners effectively.
- Must be open to travel.
- Preferred age: up to 40 years.
Eligibility
This opportunity is open to any graduate candidate with relevant experience in life insurance, broking, or partner servicing.
Additional Information
The ideal profile should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role in a life insurance company, a strong network with partners, and a strong reputation in the market.
Compensation
The offered package is INR 2,00,000 to INR 4,00,000 per year.

On-site role based in Ongole, India.
