Role Overview
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for accelerating Rewaa’s expansion through strategic partnerships, alliances, and enterprise-level opportunities. Working closely with the Head of Business Development, this position will identify and move high-value deals forward, develop relationships across the fintech, payments, and retail ecosystem, and collaborate internally to convert market opportunities into revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify promising strategic alliances and structure partnership opportunities.
- Manage the partnership journey end to end, from prospecting and discussions through negotiation and launch.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with partners in fintech, payments, and the broader ecosystem.
- Generate and evaluate new business and enterprise leads.
- Support commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and reseller or integration arrangements.
- Create business cases, pricing frameworks, and financial models to strengthen deal approvals.
- Study the retail, SaaS, and payments environment to uncover growth opportunities.
- Represent the company in front of partners, government initiatives, and Vision 2030-related programs.
- Monitor market shifts and competitor movements to stay ahead of trends.
- Work closely with Product, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Enterprise teams to align partnership efforts with business goals.
- Coordinate with Enterprise teams to transition and support key accounts.
- Prepare polished pitch decks and proposals for senior stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline, track progress, and report BD performance against targets.
- Document and standardize partnership and deal workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales.
- Prior experience in a SaaS, fintech, or payments company is required.
- Strong commercial thinking, deal negotiation ability, and financial modeling capability.
- Good understanding of the Saudi fintech, payments, and retail ecosystem.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
