Role overview
G.M. COLLIN is hiring a full-time Business Development Consultant for the New England region, covering Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, and Vermont. This position is suited to a driven professional who enjoys growing business, developing client partnerships, and working in a results-focused environment.
What you will do
- Identify promising prospects, build a pipeline, and turn opportunities into closed business.
- Work toward and exceed quarterly as well as annual revenue goals.
- Support current clients with guidance, training, and ongoing relationship management.
- Monitor stock levels and improve merchandising execution.
- Coordinate events, product launches, and salon activation initiatives.
- Use CRM systems to record activity and improve productivity.
- Partner closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Education team.
Requirements
- You should live in the Greater Boston area.
- A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to travel frequently.
- You need at least 3 years of B2B sales experience in beauty, skincare, haircare, or hospitality.
- Experience generating and developing new business is essential.
- You should be able to advise clients strategically and act in a consultative capacity.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are necessary.
- Business planning capability is expected to help spot opportunities and support growth.
- You must be self-directed and comfortable working remotely while hitting targets independently.
Additional information
This role is designed for someone who can balance sales execution with relationship building, client education, and cross-functional collaboration. The work is remote, but extensive travel across the territory is part of the job.
