Job description

About the role

As a Business & Data Analyst, you will translate business needs into clear, data-driven insights. By combining, analysing and visualising data, you will improve transparency, automate reporting workflows and provide reliable foundations for decision-making. Your analytical mindset, technical skills and clear communication will help make complex topics easy to understand and create lasting value for both specialist teams and management.

Key responsibilities

  • Gather, structure, analyse and prepare business requirements from different departments in a systematic way.
  • Work confidently with Power BI, including connecting data sources, carrying out ETL steps, building complex data models and creating dashboards.
  • Design, develop and continuously improve reports and dashboards in Power BI, Tableau and Excel.
  • Use Python and SQL to analyse and process data.
  • Create meaningful analyses that support decision-making for management and business teams.
  • Automate, document and help maintain reporting processes, data workflows and SQL databases.

Candidate profile

You should have completed vocational training or a degree in business, computer science, data analytics or a related field. You also need experience in analysing, structuring and implementing business requirements, strong Excel skills ideally including macros/VBA, practical Power BI knowledge and a basic understanding of SQL/MySQL. A strong analytical approach, a structured and solution-oriented way of working, and the ability to communicate clearly and present complex information in an understandable visual format are important for this role.

Benefits

  • Permanent employment in an innovative family-owned company.
  • Flexible working arrangements and regulated hours to support a healthy work-life balance.
  • 30 days of annual leave.
  • A long-term position with strong future prospects.
  • Additional benefits include bike leasing, a Germany ticket, corporate benefits and a contribution towards selected fitness studios.
