About the Role
Pierre Fabre Laboratories is seeking a Business Data Analyst in Singapore to transform raw data into strategic business insights. This position is crucial for enhancing decision-making across Sales, Marketing, and Management by structuring and visualizing commercial data to foster growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Organize, cleanse, integrate, and forecast sell-in and sell-out data from diverse sources including NielsenIQ, retail pharmacy portals, Microsoft AX Dynamics, and internal tracking systems.
- Evaluate commercial data to assess the performance of promotions, product assortments, pricing strategies, and overall sales trajectories.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI and comprehensive Excel reports to present insights to stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and Digital departments.
- Contribute to business reviews and strategic commercial decisions by identifying potential growth avenues and performance deficiencies.
- Engage with stakeholders to establish project priorities, disseminate findings, and provide training on effective data utilization.
- Perform specialized analyses to gauge the impact of promotional activities and the performance of product categories.
- Uphold the accuracy, consistency, and dependability of all data within reports and dashboards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proven expertise in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Demonstrate practical experience with Power BI and intermediate SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with Python for automation or forecasting tasks is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Previous experience handling commercial data within the FMCG sector, specifically concerning sell-in/sell-out figures, category analysis, and promotional data.
- Maintain a meticulous approach, exhibit self-motivation, and possess the ability to manage data independently without direct data engineering support.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams in Sales, Marketing, and Digital.
- Proficiency with data sources such as NielsenIQ and retail pharmacy portals.
- Experience with Microsoft AX Dynamics for insights into sell-in, inventory, and customer master data.
- Skilled in using Power BI and Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and visualization.
- Familiarity with internal commercial dashboards and tracking tools.
