Role overview
Kraft Heinz is seeking a permanent Business Analyst to join its Supply Chain team in Melbourne’s CBD. This role is suited to someone who wants to deepen a supply chain career in an analytical position that supports reporting, metrics, and business decision-making. The working arrangement is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Key responsibilities
The Business Analyst will work across analytics, reporting, and data validation for supply chain operations. The role involves gathering business requirements, supporting dashboards and reports, and helping ensure that data and metrics remain consistent and reliable across tools and teams.
Additional responsibilities
- Work with senior analysts, business leaders, and Product Owners to refine and prioritise the backlog.
- Collect data from multiple systems, cleanse and verify it, and reconcile results from sources such as ERP and planning platforms.
- Identify patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities through recurring reports and ad hoc analysis.
- Resolve day-to-day issues related to analytics and reporting.
- Partner with data engineers to understand pipelines, source systems, transformations, and end-to-end data movement.
- Support dashboard and report creation and enhancement with analytics developers using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Help maintain standard metric definitions and governance so reporting remains aligned across teams.
- Create test plans and validate dashboards and reports against source data and business requirements during SIT and UAT.
- Document data definitions, business rules, calculation methods, dashboards, reports, and data flows.
- Assist with user guides, training resources, and end-user training.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a Business Analyst role or a similar analytics/reporting-focused position.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or SAP is highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data cleanup/manipulation.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Good understanding of data modelling processes.
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Comfort working cross-functionally and building positive working relationships.
- Full working rights in Australia.
