Job description
Role Overview
An established financial services client in Dublin is seeking a Business Analyst with reporting experience and a strong grounding in accounting principles. The role is centred on supporting a key financial reporting and control application within a global banking and investment environment.
The ideal person will understand the products used in banking and investment markets, be comfortable working across the full project lifecycle, and take a practical, hands-on approach when resolving issues.
What You’ll Do
You will contribute to initiatives connected to the reporting and control platform, assist other business analysts in the immediate team as well as the broader group, and help address complex support matters that are escalated from front-line support to the development team.
Experience and Technical Focus
This position requires experience in global banking and investment markets, along with a clear understanding of financial accounting principles and standard reporting practices. Familiarity with pivot tables, calculation-based analysis, and structured table-based reporting is also important.
