Examples include an Associate degree, apprenticeship, boot camp, or specialized certification, plus 1 year of relevant experience; or a high school diploma plus 2 years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree with no prior experience. Relevant study areas include Business, Supply Chain, Communications, Mathematics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a similar discipline.
- Experience collecting, processing, and applying statistical analysis to large datasets in order to turn information into usable insights.
- Background in gathering, reviewing, and documenting business requirements so they clearly support business goals.
- Legal authorization to live and work in the country of application without visa sponsorship.
Compensation and benefits
Pay is influenced by hiring location, local market conditions, the skills and experience you bring, education, certifications, and training. Cisco notes the following full salary ranges for some locations: New York City Metro Area, $80,000.00 to $117,200.00; Non-Metro New York State and Washington State, $70,700.00 to $103,200.00. For locations not listed, compensation details may be shared during the hiring process.
U.S. employees may be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) plan with company match; paid parental leave; short- and long-term disability coverage; and basic life insurance. Additional Cisco perks may also be available, including restricted stock units that vest with continued employment.
Paid time away for U.S. employees may include 10 paid holidays each full calendar year plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees, 1 paid birthday day off, year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 personal wellness days. Non-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation per year, accrued at 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time staff. Exempt employees follow Cisco’s flexible vacation policy with no fixed maximum, subject to business needs and availability. Sick time of 80 hours is provided on hire and each January 1, with up to 80 unused hours carried forward. Additional paid leave may be requested for urgent family matters, and employees may also receive up to 10 paid volunteer days per year.
Non-sales roles may be eligible for annual bonuses under Cisco policy. For sales-plan employees, performance-based incentive pay may apply in addition to base salary, with separate quota and non-quota components governed by the relevant Cisco plan. Cisco also notes that Illinois employees, whether exempt or non-exempt, participate in a special time-off program to meet local requirements.
Important notice
This role is being advertised as a possible future opportunity, and the exact opening may not exist today. Applications are accepted until further notice.
Compensation for sales-plan roles can include base pay plus sales incentive pay. For quota-based incentive plans, Cisco describes the payout structure as follows: 0.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment beyond 100%, with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales measures such as strategic objectives, Cisco may pay from 0% to 125% of target. There is no minimum performance threshold for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
