Business Analyst, Data & AI

Role Overview

This position is part of an AI transformation group working to modernize Shared Services functions such as Operations, Legal, and Compliance through the use of data, analytics, and emerging technologies. The Business Analyst will help uncover opportunities, turn business needs into data-led solutions, and contribute to the rollout of AI-enabled capabilities across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with business teams, and able to connect technical data ideas with practical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Spot and rank high-value opportunities for data-led process improvements and AI applications within Shared Services.
• Convert business needs into data-oriented solutions that support broader transformation objectives.
• Use SQL, Python, or comparable tools to analyze data and produce insights that inform AI model work.
• Help build dashboards, reporting structures, and data models that support decision-making.
• Support data governance efforts by improving data quality and reliability for AI use cases.
• Work closely with technology and product partners to deliver scalable AI-based solutions.
• Explain complex technical ideas and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Take part in designing and testing AI and machine learning solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency.
• Adapt quickly to new subject areas and contribute flexibly as priorities change.

Requirements

• At least 3 to 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong emphasis on data and analytics.
• Practical experience using data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Python.
• Working knowledge of data governance concepts and best practices.
• Strong analytical ability with a proactive and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
• Background in financial services is preferred.
• Direct experience working on AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics initiatives.
• Ability to learn quickly and contribute across different business areas.
• Self-driven attitude and interest in innovation through data and AI.

Compensation

The stated annual salary range for this role is USD 170,000 to USD 190,000.
