Role overview

What you'll do
- Assist in shaping and delivering compliant IT solutions that support business priorities.
- Partner with business, automation, and technology groups to turn requirements into workable solutions.
- Help design, roll out, and refine structured IT systems with a focus on user needs.
- Support projects and operational improvement efforts through planning, tracking, and follow-through.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at local, regional, and global levels.
- Make sure solutions fit with global Animal Health IT platforms and the broader Global Animal Health Manufacturing strategy.
- Contribute to change management efforts and help drive adoption of durable solutions.
- Build knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing processes, supporting systems, and associated data.
- Help standardise IT and automation systems used across manufacturing environments.
- Assist with technology configuration while considering compliance, cyber security, and business continuity needs.
- Support site modernisation initiatives within agreed scope and timeframes.
- Apply system lifecycle and IT methods to deliver process integration outcomes.
- Help maintain application stability, performance, supportability, and compliance in production.
- Participate in the wider regional and global IT community and support the One IT approach.
- Contribute to modernisation and digitisation work on the manufacturing shop floor, including IoT-enabled initiatives and the integration of manufacturing systems across pharma, biopharma, and medical devices contexts.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant project experience.
- Previous experience in IT and business process design.
- Experience working with IT systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of biological science processes and methods that support information systems.
- Familiarity with process redesign approaches such as business process re-engineering, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management.
- Knowledge of facilitation and organisational change management.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing technology and apply it to business needs.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build credibility with peers and leaders.
- Creative thinking and sound judgement when handling situation-specific issues.
- Strong awareness of organisational dynamics and the ability to work effectively across geography, culture, and expertise.
- An open, collaborative mindset and willingness to receive feedback, ideas, and evidence.
- Interest in modernisation and digitisation of manufacturing shop floor environments, including IoT.
- Interest in integrating and managing manufacturing systems in pharma, biopharma, or medical devices.
- Exposure to the consulting industry is an advantage.
- Project management experience is an advantage.
- Strong situational analysis and decision-making skills are an advantage.
- Experience working with software vendors and third-party solution integrators is an advantage.
