In this role, you will collaborate with global teams spanning Advisory, Assurance, Tax, and Business Services to help solve real business problems. As a Business Analyst - Associate in the Technology Consulting practice, you will help improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your work will involve studying client requirements, shaping process improvements, and supporting business performance through data-driven recommendations. This is an associate-level role focused on learning, contributing to client projects, and building experience in client interaction, professional communication, and technical depth.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine operational data sets with SQL and MySQL Workbench to pull out useful insights.
- Build interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Develop and update Power BI data models, Power Query steps, and DAX calculations.
- Convert analytical findings into practical recommendations and process improvements.
- Support reporting solutions that track operational results and financial indicators.
- Work with analytics and engineering teams to ensure reporting output matches business needs.
- Look for ways to automate reporting tasks using Power BI and Power Platform tools.
- Present findings through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Follow data governance requirements and healthcare privacy rules, including HIPAA.
- Handle sensitive client information in line with PwC’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering.
- Additional preference is given to candidates from Cloud Computing or Software Engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience is required.
- Practical experience with Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and dashboard creation.
- Strong understanding of Power BI data modeling, including star schema design and relationship handling.
- Ability to improve report performance through query folding, DAX tuning, and efficient dataset design.
- Experience managing dashboards in Power BI Service, including workspaces, scheduled refreshes, and row-level security.
- Strong SQL capability using SQL / MySQL Workbench or similar tools.
- Ability to write joins, aggregations, subqueries, and other analytical queries.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and analytical modeling.
- Strong analytical thinking, interpretation skills, and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to healthcare datasets or Revenue Cycle Management operations.
- Experience with PowerApps and Power Automate is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based analytics environments.
- Background in root cause analysis and operational performance analysis.
- Experience working with analytics and data engineering teams on reporting delivery.

- Shift timing requires flexibility to work night shifts aligned to US time zones.
