Job description
Role overview
Publicis Sapient is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work with business stakeholders and technical teams on technology solutions that create meaningful outcomes. This role calls for strong analytical ability and product understanding to turn business needs into precise functional requirements that support strong delivery.
You will work across multiple disciplines, including Strategy, Experience, Engineering, and Data, to help shape practical, customer-centred solutions. Your work will include defining functional specifications and mapping business processes so that delivery teams have clear direction and measurable progress.
The role also includes helping build a positive team environment by coaching others, sharing clarity, and guiding the team toward results that deliver value for clients.
Responsibilities
- Run discovery discussions and workshops to understand client objectives, operating processes, and pain points, then convert the findings into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop scalable, user-focused solutions by building strong product knowledge, spotting functional gaps, and suggesting suitable configurations, workarounds, or product improvements.
- Work in close partnership with developers, architects, and consultants so that solutions match the functional design and are confirmed through configuration, testing, and integration phases.
- Create clear functional documentation, process maps, user manuals, training content, and release notes, and provide training to end users and administrators.
- Assist with change impact analysis, adoption planning, and ongoing improvement by reviewing system usage and sharing insights for enhancements and roadmap planning.
- Keep up with product developments, industry shifts, and emerging technology so you can bring new ideas into client solutions.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or Product Consultant within a technology consulting setting.
- Solid knowledge of SaaS and enterprise technology products such as CRM, ERP, HRIS, customer experience, and analytics platforms.
- Proven ability to translate business workflows into product configurations.
- Hands-on experience preparing functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with APIs, integrations, and basic data concepts without deep coding requirements.
- Nice-to-have: exposure to industries such as financial services, government, retail, or telecommunications.
- Nice-to-have: relevant certifications in Agile, Scrum, or product-specific areas.
