Role overview
HDI Group is looking for a Business Analyst to support the ongoing digital transformation of a globally active industrial insurer. In this role, you will work across the value chain to shape business requirements and help develop a modern, forward-looking software and systems environment.
What you will do
- Review and translate business needs across the full value chain to support the company’s international digitalization agenda.
- Contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of modern software and system solutions.
- Work alongside the Product Owner to shape, refine, and communicate the product vision and roadmap.
- Carry out market and competitor research to spot trends, benchmarks, and proven practices.
- Own requirements from start to finish, making sure they remain valuable, usable, functional, and high in quality throughout the lifecycle.
- Define acceptance criteria and support requirement quality assurance.
- Work with a strong focus on outcomes and measurable business impact.
What we are looking for
- A completed degree in economics, business informatics, business administration, insurance management, or a similar discipline.
- Substantial professional experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Systems Analyst, or Consultant.
- Solid knowledge of insurance value chains or a comparable environment, such as sales, underwriting, policy administration, claims handling, platform systems, or international insurance programmes.
- Strong analytical ability, fast understanding, and proven problem-solving skills.
- An end-to-end mindset with the ability to understand dependencies and interfaces in a highly connected setting.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to support business initiatives that contribute to broader company goals.
- Very strong written and spoken English skills, at least C1 level.
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: Input Management, partner system management, or DMS/ECS.
