About the Role

This position is for a Building Maintenance Technician within Knight Frank Property & Facilities Management Singapore. Reporting to the Site Head, the role supports the day-to-day upkeep of buildings and estates through hands-on repairs, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate is proactive, practical, and experienced in building maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general building repair work, including electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks.
  • Read and understand technical documents such as electrical and plumbing drawings, as well as site plans.
  • Perform regular safety inspections to identify electrical hazards and water ponding issues.
  • Work with security staff to help maintain a safe site environment.
  • Support scheduled preventive maintenance and ad-hoc repair activities to keep facilities operating well.
  • Record and track Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) readings and monitor equipment and system performance.
  • Assist in supervising maintenance and servicing work carried out by external contractors.
  • Escalate any irregularities or concerns to the site manager.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in building maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of building systems and Mechanical & Electrical systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
  • Strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Minimum qualification of NITEC in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent credential.
