Internship Overview
This strategy internship is a full-time, three-month program for graduate students. It is designed for candidates who are interested in branding, enjoy taking initiative, share knowledge freely, and are comfortable working closely with teammates throughout the internship. The role is highly practical and fast-moving, with learning centered on real project work rather than a formal training model.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-depth background research to support strategy development for client and internal needs
- Take part in client work throughout the internship and gain exposure to phases such as discovery, research, visual identity, verbal identity, and customer experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, contribute to internal discussions, and bring your perspective to the team
- Support assigned tasks such as competitive reviews, discovery immersions, research, and note-taking
- Jump in on fast-moving projects and assist with urgent needs to better understand the agency’s day-to-day work
- Complete one long-term team project during the internship and present the final output to the team
Professional Development
- Attend onboarding sessions with leaders from across the organization during your first few weeks
- Continue meeting with leadership and teammates to ask questions, seek guidance, and receive feedback
- Work across different teams to understand how each department contributes to the company
- Join client meetings and presentations to learn how Monigle communicates its work
- Participate in the mentorship program and work with a mentor on your personal development plan
Candidate Profile
- You are currently pursuing a master’s degree or have recently completed one
- You have a genuine interest in branding
- You are naturally curious and enjoy digging into details to uncover useful insights
- You work well in teams, can share your viewpoint confidently, and can step up when needed
- You are proactive, resourceful, and strong at solving problems
- You pay close attention to details and stay organized
- You are comfortable interacting with people across all seniority levels, from junior staff to executives
Work Location
Candidates may work remotely from anywhere in the United States, or choose to work from the Denver or New York offices.
Pay and Compensation
The hourly pay range for this role is $20 to $22. The final rate depends on seniority, merit, location, education, training, and experience.
