About the Role
Relatable is a fast-moving consumer products company known for playful, culturally relevant brands such as What Do You Meme? and Emotional Support Pals. The company values speed, bold decision-making, and products that people truly enjoy. In this role, the Brand Manager will own the brand from end to end, including strategy, performance, storytelling, and execution. The position connects Product, Sales, Creative, Marketing, and Licensing, and is well suited to someone who works well in a high-velocity environment where impact is highly visible.
Portfolio Strategy and Business Ownership
- Take full responsibility for the total line plan, including forecasting, financial targets, margin goals, and pricing approach.
- Lead product roadmap planning, assortment structure, and pricing tiers across the portfolio.
- Shape the product and innovation agenda, including brand direction, positioning, and the features that will drive growth.
- Build a licensing and partnership plan that expands the brand into additional channels and opportunities.
Brand Building
- Set and refine the brand’s positioning, identity, and long-term vision.
- Create a clear and distinctive brand voice, tone, and visual style.
- Keep the brand consistent across packaging, retail, digital, and marketing touchpoints.
Market Intelligence and Analysis
- Perform detailed category and competitor analysis to uncover whitespace opportunities.
- Track consumer behavior, cultural trends, and competitive changes to stay ahead of the market.
- Translate POS data, social signals, and market research into actionable strategy.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Product Development, Engineering, and Design to meet timelines and margin targets.
- Own the transition to Sales and support retailer sell-in presentations and buyer decks.
- Partner with Creative Services, Social, Licensing, and Growth Marketing teams.
- Start mentoring junior colleagues as the role grows.
Marketing Strategy and Execution
- Define the behavioral and psychographic profiles of the target audience to guide creative decisions.
- Create messaging frameworks for social, email, product detail pages, and advertising copy.
- Write creative briefs for all consumer-facing touchpoints.
- Lead go-to-market planning and calendars for launches and carry-forward products.

- Strong project delivery and launches completed on schedule.
- Healthy budget control and margin performance.
- Growth in market share within the assigned category.
- Effective retailer sell-in materials and presentations.
- Consistent brand execution across all consumer touchpoints.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 and $135,000, with eligibility for an annual target bonus prorated from the start date. Pay within the range will depend on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs.
