About the Role
This opportunity is for a remote contract position focused on clinical research expertise across Chemistry and Biology. The work supports AI research efforts by creating strong scientific tasks, reviewing experimental approaches, and contributing domain-specific technical content. The company partners with top AI research labs and is based in San Francisco, with backing from well-known investors.
What You’ll Do
- Develop sophisticated research questions and problem sets in Chemistry and Biology that can help improve future AI systems.
- Assess experimental designs and frameworks to help ensure reliable, high-quality data generation.
- Produce clear, accurate technical material from your field to assist model training.
- Work alongside AI research teams to improve the quality of outputs and the underlying data.
- Complete around 4 to 6 tasks each week independently and on an asynchronous schedule.
Required Qualifications
- A PhD in Clinical Research, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or a closely related discipline.
- An undergraduate degree earned from an institution in the US, UK, Canada, or Western Europe.
- A graduate degree from a top university in the US, UK, Canada, or Western Europe.
- Strong background in clinical study planning, experimental methods, biochemical or chemical analysis, or translational research.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
- Advanced command of English.
Compensation
The pay range for this contract role is $70 to $90 per hour.
