The company works with organisations to design effective talent strategies, strengthen capability across teams, and solve complex people-related challenges through practical consulting and training support.
Role Overview
This full-time Bid Manager position is based in Dublin and is set up as a hybrid role, with flexibility to work part-time from home. The person in this role will own the full bid and proposal process end to end, from spotting opportunities through to submitting high-quality responses on time. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, careful document preparation, strong writing and editing skills, and consistent compliance with client instructions and internal procedures.
What You Will Do
- Manage the full lifecycle of bids, proposals, invitations to tender, requests for proposals, and related questionnaires.
- Set up new opportunities in the CRM and keep all correspondence correctly filed.
- Develop the overall approach and response strategy for each bid or tender.
- Gather input from Directors, Associate Directors, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders for sections such as experience, team profiles, programme details, and technical responses.
- Compile and refine this material into concise, persuasive submissions.
- Prepare submission documents, including PowerPoint-based materials, and answer bid-related queries.
- Ensure all responses are completed with enough time for review, editing, and final sign-off before the deadline.
- Deliver bids in line with client instructions and submission timelines.
- Keep opportunity trackers, bid progress records, and pipeline data updated in internal systems.
- Produce weekly progress reports that help monitor incoming work and support business growth.
- Research and identify possible bids and proposals through online procurement portals and recommend suitable opportunities for leadership review.
- Create and update company brochures and other marketing/bid collateral.
- Maintain key supporting documents such as CVs, organisational charts, data sheets, company profiles, insurance certificates, and similar records.
- Keep competency records current to support public procurement, technical affiliations, and industry accreditations.
- Track bid outcomes and contribute to process improvements that strengthen proposal quality and delivery efficiency.
Additional Information
The role includes work on commercial and government tender processes, including public procurement opportunities such as e-tender platforms. The company also references its wider services and approach through its website, but no external application process details are provided here.
