Its kitchen team helps shape memorable occasions by producing thoughtfully prepared menu items and baked products.
Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site baking position based in Kochi, Kerala. The selected candidate will prepare, bake, and plate a range of baked items to support day-to-day service and special occasions. The role includes breads, cookies, pastries, and other bakery products, with a focus on consistency, presentation, and timely delivery.
Key Duties
Responsibilities include measuring and combining ingredients accurately, using bakery equipment, tracking baking times and temperatures, and maintaining the quality and appearance of all items. The baker will also keep the kitchen area clean and safe, follow hygiene and food safety practices, manage stock of baking ingredients, and work closely with culinary and event teams to meet production timelines. Support with event-specific recipes, recipe adjustments, and menu planning may also be required.

The role requires the ability to make cookies and bread with reliable taste, texture, and presentation. Strong awareness of sanitation standards, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to perform well under event deadlines are essential. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on event needs is also expected. Experience in a commercial bakery, hotel, pastry kitchen, or event venue is preferred. Formal culinary or bakery training is helpful, though equivalent hands-on experience is acceptable.
Work Environment
The position is based on-site and involves coordination with supervisors, chefs, and event staff in a professional hospitality setting.
