Role Overview
The City of Fairburn is looking for a seasoned technician with hands-on experience in backflow prevention and related utility testing work. This position focuses on technical inspections, control testing, and water quality-related field activities.
Key Duties
- Inspect the installation of backflow assemblies to confirm proper setup and compliance.
- Carry out cross-connection control testing as part of water system protection efforts.
- Complete water use surveys to support utility monitoring and assessment.
- Perform water constituent testing in the field.
- Conduct dye testing operations as needed.
