Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer proficient in Python and Django to join our team in Gurugram. The role involves working with various technologies including databases, caching, background processing, and search systems in a cloud-native, distributed architecture environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django frameworks.
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis) to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Implement and manage background task processing with Celery and enhance search capabilities using Elasticsearch.
• Collaborate in designing distributed systems and cloud-native architectures to support scalable applications.
• Perform unit and integration testing utilizing Pytest and build RESTful APIs for service integration.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in core Python programming and Django web framework.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases and Redis caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Celery for background job processing and Elasticsearch for search functionality.
• Competence in writing tests with Pytest and developing REST API services.
• Understanding of distributed system design and cloud-native application architectures.
• Proficient in container technologies like Docker.
