Role Overview

Jotform is hiring an experienced Backend Developer for a full-time, on-site position in Vancouver. The role is suited to someone who wants to contribute to a fast-growing product organization and work on systems used by millions of enterprise customers.

What You'll Do

• Investigate, fix, and prevent bugs while also designing, building, and releasing new product capabilities.
• Work in close partnership with Product, Frontend, DevOps, and Design teams.
• Ship changes through a continuous integration workflow into production systems serving more than 25 million users.
• Evaluate and improve system architecture to support ongoing growth and scalability.

What You Need

• Deep expertise in PHP.
• Ability to produce efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Background in building web applications.
• Exposure to distributed systems development.
• Prior work on SaaS products and high-traffic platforms is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and related web technologies.
• Good grasp of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Git and Jenkins.
• Strong English communication skills, along with solid interpersonal ability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of CAD 110,000 to CAD 170,000.
