Royal Swiss Auto Services LLC is a major independent automotive workshop operating in Dubai, serving premium and luxury vehicle brands including Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and others. The business delivers a broad range of vehicle services such as engine and gearbox repairs, brake and suspension work, air conditioning servicing, software programming, diagnostics, and touchless wheel alignment. The company aims to be a top-tier car repair destination across Dubai and the wider UAE, with a strong focus on workmanship quality and outstanding customer care.
The organization promotes a safe, ethical, and inclusive work environment built on professionalism, trust, and prompt service. Its workshop is certified to 5 Star ESMA and ISO standards, reflecting a commitment to high operational and quality benchmarks.
Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Painter position based in Al Sajaa. The role focuses on preparing vehicle panels and body surfaces, applying paint systems, and delivering refined finishes that meet manufacturer and workshop expectations, particularly on luxury and high-performance vehicles.
Key Duties
The painter will be responsible for cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming surfaces before paint application. The job also includes blending and matching paint shades, applying base coats, clear coats, and refinishing layers in spray booth environments, and producing smooth, consistent results across a range of vehicle makes and models.
In addition, the role requires inspection of finished work, carrying out corrections and touch-ups where needed, coordinating with body technicians and service advisors to keep work aligned with quality standards and promised delivery times, maintaining spray tools and related equipment, observing safety and environmental rules, and completing basic documentation connected to repair and paint jobs.
Required Background
Applicants should have hands-on expertise in automotive surface preparation, sanding, masking, priming, and paint application. Practical knowledge of color matching, paint mixing, and use of spray guns and spray booths is essential, especially for luxury vehicles.
Candidates should also understand vehicle body repair workflows, be able to work closely with body technicians to achieve factory-like results, and demonstrate strong attention to detail when checking and improving paint quality. Familiarity with PPE, safe handling of paints and solvents, and compliance with environmental requirements is important.
The role calls for the ability to read work orders, job cards, and basic technical instructions in English, along with prior experience in an automotive painter or refinish technician role in a workshop, dealership, or body shop. Vocational training, a trade certificate, or an equivalent qualification in automotive painting or body repair is preferred. Teamwork, time management, and the ability to perform well in a busy workshop are also expected.
Qualifications
- Practical strength in preparing body panels through cleaning, sanding, masking, priming, and applying automotive paint systems.
- Experience in shade matching, paint blending, and operating spray guns and spray booths, especially for premium and luxury cars.
- Working knowledge of body repair processes and coordination with body technicians to produce high-quality, factory-standard finishes.
- Awareness of safety practices, PPE usage, and environmental controls for paints, solvents, and other hazardous materials.
- Careful eye for detail, with the ability to spot defects and correct flaws in finished paintwork.
- Ability to understand and follow work orders, job cards, and basic technical directions in English.
- Previous work experience as an automotive painter or refinishing specialist in a workshop, dealership, or body shop setting.
- Vocational training, trade certification, or a comparable qualification in automotive painting or body repair is preferred.
- Capability to work well with a diverse team, manage tasks efficiently, and adapt to a fast-moving workshop environment.
Workplace Standards
The workshop operates with high standards of professionalism, credibility, responsiveness, and workplace safety. The role is expected to align with the company’s ethical and inclusive culture while maintaining quality output across every stage of the refinishing process.
