Job purpose
The role is focused on steering the assigned branch through strong planning, resource management, and execution of sales initiatives. The aim is to deliver the agreed business outcomes, strengthen the branch’s market presence, and build brand value in a cost-efficient way.
Role overview
This position also involves expanding reach within defence-linked catchments and establishing an insurance distribution network by setting up Parakram Managers across defence channels.
Major challenges and accountabilities
- Build and execute branch sales plans to meet targets across agent count, agent productivity, fresh premium, and business persistency.
- Improve the output of the field team through effective leadership and people management.
- Protect and improve business persistency to support broader branch performance goals.
- Foster financial discipline across the branch to keep revenue under control.
- Maintain full compliance so branch operations run smoothly and productivity remains strong.
- Lead sales promotion efforts to help achieve business targets.
- Share recommendations on product and process enhancements to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Manage branch administration effectively to ensure smooth, cost-conscious operations.
