  • Contribute to the planning and allocation of audit resources.
  • Track audit execution against approved timelines and budgets.
  • Stay alert to emerging risks and developments in the industry or regulatory environment that may affect financial reporting.
  • Support the design and delivery of audit programs for operational audits, including planning and performing audit procedures.
  • Carry out detailed testing of processes, controls, and transactions.
  • Collect and assess audit evidence, document results, and prepare working papers in line with IIA standards.
  • Help draft audit reports and summarize findings for inclusion in final outputs.
  • Join discussions with auditees to review findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and assessing inherent and control risks in operational activities.
  • Support the creation and implementation of risk mitigation actions.
  • Work with the Head of Operational Audits on related matters, including special assignments and administrative support.
  • Verify that operational activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Review internal controls and procedures to ensure they follow organizational policies and standards.
  • Examine operational data to spot trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Use data analysis methods to strengthen audit conclusions and improve audit efficiency.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Supervisor, fellow auditors, and auditees.
  • Build and preserve professional working relationships with auditees and other stakeholders.
  • Keep professional knowledge current through training, seminars, and ongoing awareness of best practices and regulatory updates.
  • Follow the IIA Code of Ethics and uphold integrity throughout all audit work.
  • Take on additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor of Operational & IT Audits, including special projects and administrative work.

Requirements

  • A university degree in MIS, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience using modern computerized auditing methods.
  • At least 2 years of internal audit experience in a Cybersecurity & IT function.
