Role overview

Clair Global Integration is expanding and is seeking Assistant Project Managers to join the team. In this position, you will partner closely with Project Managers and clients to keep project scope and budgets under control, while coordinating with purchasing, inventory, engineering, and production teams so every phase stays on track. The role is collaborative and may involve guiding other team members when needed.

This opportunity is designed as a fast-track path into project management within Clair Global Integration. It starts with field-based work as an installation technician and gradually grows into roles with greater responsibility, including supervising teams under the direction of the Project Manager.

Because projects may involve international partners, some after-hours or weekend work may be necessary. Travel to project sites is also an important part of the job.

Qualifications and requirements

The following abilities and experience are expected to carry out the job effectively while using independent judgment and discretion.

  • Strong client-facing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams
  • Clear written and spoken communication
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking capability
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience using project management software
  • Familiarity with quoting tools and inventory systems is an advantage
  • Ability to interpret system diagrams and architectural drawings
  • Creative problem-solving skills

Experience and education

  • Preferred background of 0 to 5 years in project management, construction, AV, or a related field
  • Alternatively, a BS or MS degree in Construction Management

Key responsibilities

  • Help define project scope and objectives and work toward successful completion
  • Create detailed project plans to track progress
  • Handle changes to scope, schedule, and project costs
  • Prepare project status updates for clients and management
  • Coordinate client schedules and communicate them to internal teams
  • Set deadlines for internal and external deliverables
  • Coordinate receipt of client drawings for deliverable creation
  • Manage internal resources and third-party vendors across the project lifecycle
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within or below budget
  • Report issues and escalate them to management when required
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Build and sustain relationships with vendors and third parties
  • Develop and keep detailed project documentation up to date
  • Oversee remote site installation teams
  • Apply and grow leadership capabilities
  • Take on other related duties as assigned
  • Create spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps for documentation purposes

Additional information

This role may require work outside standard office hours, including weekends, depending on project demands and coordination with overseas partners. Travel to project locations is an essential part of the position.
