This position sits within people and change consulting, with a strong focus on organization design and workforce planning. The role supports client engagements from analysis through to delivery, helping produce clear, practical outputs for senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Help deliver organization design and workforce planning workstreams end to end, keeping outputs aligned with quality expectations, timelines, and client needs.
  • Carry out organization diagnostics, including spans and layers reviews, role and responsibility assessments, operating model inputs, and efficiency opportunity identification.
  • Create organization design materials such as design principles, structure alternatives, role profiles, and governance or decision-rights frameworks such as RACI models.
  • Develop and maintain workforce planning models covering demand, supply, capacity, capability, and scenario analysis, then turn findings into practical recommendations.
  • Organize and support client workshops and interviews, then consolidate the outcomes into clear problem statements and suggested actions.
  • Assist with implementation planning, roadmaps, and workforce transition plans, including tracking risks, issues, and mitigation steps.
  • Prepare polished executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations with strong narrative flow and close attention to accuracy.
  • Manage day-to-day coordination for assigned workstreams, including planning, progress monitoring, and status updates.
  • Guide junior colleagues by reviewing their work, giving constructive feedback, and contributing to team capability building.
  • Support business development activities such as research, proposal writing, case study and credential development, and presentation preparation.
  • Contribute to improving methods, tools, and intellectual capital related to organization design and workforce planning.

Experience and professional requirements

  • At least 4 years of relevant consulting experience, including a minimum of 3 years specializing in organization design and/or workforce planning and analytics.
  • Big 4 consulting background is required, along with proven experience delivering client-facing work and producing executive-level outputs.
  • Hands-on experience with organizational diagnostics such as spans and layers, role clarity, governance, and target operating structure design.
  • Experience creating workforce planning models and scenarios using both quantitative and qualitative inputs, with the ability to explain what the data means.
  • Strong project management skills, including workplan control, milestone tracking, RAID management, and cross-stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a high standard of accuracy and quality control.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and able to adapt quickly in demanding and changing client settings.

Education and certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications are considered an advantage, especially in organization design, workforce analytics, project management, or change management.

Technical competencies

  • Organization design and operating model analysis, including spans and layers, role clarity, and governance.
  • Workforce planning and analytics, including demand and capacity planning, scenario modeling, and capability mapping.
  • Data analysis and interpretation using both numerical and qualitative information.
  • Structured consulting methods and problem-solving frameworks.
  • Project management, including work planning, RAID tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Presentation building and report writing with strong storylining for executive audiences.
  • Advanced use of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with analytics tools is beneficial.
