Role Overview
This position is for an Assistant Manager in Marketing Communications at One BKC, Mumbai. The role involves planning and coordinating mall marketing efforts, strengthening brand presence, and supporting efforts that increase footfall and revenue across mall assets.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the execution of communication plans across multiple channels, work closely with mall teams and external partners, and help shape marketing activity for the year.
- Support effective marketing communication activities and help drive visitor footfall in coordination with mall teams.
- Contribute to the development of 360-degree marketing plans with the internal team.
- Prepare weekly and monthly status updates and monitor marketing spend.
- Maintain strong working relationships with advertising agencies and other partners involved in events, décor, activations, and media.
- Plan and execute communication across all relevant platforms and channels.
- Build strategies that enhance brand equity and improve positive brand perception.
- Create and implement campaigns aimed at increasing mall footfall.
- Support revenue generation from advertising locations and promotional spaces within the mall.
- Draft and manage the marketing budget for the mall.
- Plan and maintain the annual events calendar for the financial year.
- Track competitors and market trends continuously and thoroughly.
- Work effectively with vendors, event teams, and agencies at different levels.
- Oversee shopping bag audits, mystery shopping, and customer satisfaction and feedback studies at regular intervals.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for campaigns across mall assets.
- Coordinate with finance teams for receivables and fund management.
- Control operating expenses while ensuring campaign outcomes are delivered effectively.
- Develop promotional strategies and related policies that align with brand standards.
- Lead ATL and BTL initiatives, including concept development, design, printing, media, PR, photo and video shoots, influencer campaigns, third-party activations, and press conferences.
- Support digital performance marketing planning and analysis across Meta and Google Ads.
- Use research and insights to build stronger communication strategies.
- Get the best output from all agencies working with the marketing team.
Experience and Work Details
The role is based in Mumbai Suburban at One BKC. Work schedule is 5 days a week, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The reporting line is to the Assistant General Manager - Marketing. The role is in a mall management environment, and the compensation package can go up to 13 LPA depending on skills and interview performance.
Eligibility and Requirements
Candidates should have a graduate degree, preferably B.Com in any specialization. An MBA in Marketing is also mentioned as the preferred qualification. The role calls for 3 to 4 years of experience in the listing details, while the detailed experience note mentions a minimum of 5 years of overall experience. Applicants should ideally have strong networking contacts within marketing, advertising, and creative agencies in Mumbai and other cities. Experience in any industry is acceptable.
