Role Overview
This position is responsible for delivering a wide range of human resources services so that people strategies stay closely aligned with business objectives. The role partners with business leaders to understand operational priorities, convert those into key HR actions, and support planning based on historical data, business needs, and changing priorities. Qualifications and Experience
- MBA or a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources is required.
- Applicants should have 7 to 12 years of experience in HR.
Core Responsibilities
- Forecast workforce requirements for the year and review quarterly projections using business demand, anticipated attrition, and expected location changes.
- Monitor budget compliance and take corrective action when actuals move away from plan.
- Work with business teams to assess and refine the staffing pyramid structure.
- Contribute to recruitment planning, including the fresher versus experienced hiring mix and the choice of hiring channels.
- Interview applicants for key roles and evaluate how well they match the job and the organization.
- Serve as an HR advisor by analyzing data such as productivity and span of control, then turning insights into cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
- Lead important initiatives in areas such as talent management, diversity, employee satisfaction, and workplace experience.
- Offer guidance to business teams on complex HR matters including employee relations, talent development, retention, and hiring strategy, while knowing when to involve specialist HR support.
- Review metrics related to engagement, attrition, headcount, vendor expense, and employee investment needs.
- Create practical and innovative HR interventions that help maintain a positive environment and strengthen employee engagement.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of HR systems and processes.
- Experience working with senior business stakeholders.
- Ability to use technology and analytics tools for problem-solving and decision support.
- Comfort interpreting business data and turning it into insights.
- Capability to build executive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of finance, including reviewing P&L statements and building business cases.
- Ability to understand contracts and terms & conditions.
