Role Overview

The team is hiring an Assistant Account Executive to support a fast-moving portfolio of accounts across multiple industries. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to media outreach, client communications, and account coordination in an agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track media coverage related to client accounts and prepare detailed updates for clients.
  • Write short-form materials such as media briefings and related documents with clarity and purpose.
  • Create customized media lists aligned with campaign goals and initiatives.
  • Handle daily media relations efforts and help secure coverage across national, regional, broadcast, and digital outlets.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with journalists and other media contacts.
  • Support day-to-day account work, including scheduling and updating client reports with campaign activity and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 months of experience in a professional environment, including internships; agency experience is considered an advantage.
  • Strong organizational ability and time management skills, with comfort handling several clients or projects at once.
  • Interest in lifestyle, luxury, pop culture, food and beverage, and/or entertainment industries.
  • A clear commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, along with self-awareness and cultural competence.
  • Ability to stay effective in a changing, fast-paced setting and adapt as priorities shift.

Compensation

The role offers a base salary of $45,000 per year and includes eligibility for overtime.
