Job description
Overview
We are looking for an Art Director to shape the visual identity for BUBLIK, a bilingual short psychodrama featuring Ksenia Rappoport and music by Novelist. The story centers on a tense and unsettling relationship between a mother and daughter, so the campaign needs imagery with a strong, distinctive point of view.
You will be responsible for defining how the film presents itself publicly as it moves toward festival submissions and a bold crowdfunding push.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain the visual direction for BUBLIK across Instagram and all campaign collateral.
- Lead the development of a compelling social presence with visuals that feel deliberate, stylish, and charged with tension.
- Adapt the film’s tone into still imagery, key art, posters, and other campaign materials.
- Establish the visual system that a graphic designer will then execute and refine.
About you
- You bring experience as an art director and have a strong eye for cinematic, fashion-led visual storytelling.
- You are interested in art-house sensibilities and high-design culture rather than attention-grabbing gimmicks.
- You can make an Instagram presence feel like an immersive visual universe, not just a posting schedule.
- Experience with films, festivals, or culture-focused campaigns would be an advantage.
The project
This is a festival-oriented short psychodrama with a notable cast, original music, and a clear ambition for a memorable visual identity. It is an opportunity to help build the look and feel of a film intended to stand out.
Application
Applicants should share a portfolio along with a brief note explaining how they would approach the visual world of BUBLIK.
