About the Role
Wolford is hiring an experienced, performance-oriented Area Manager to lead retail operations across the West Coast. The position is based out of the Beverly Center boutique and covers multiple stores in the Las Vegas and Southern California market. This role partners with store leaders and corporate teams to improve sales, strengthen operations, develop talent, and deliver a premium client experience.
The role calls for a leader who can balance strategy and execution, build accountability, and support a culture of collaboration, luxury service, and strong business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and profitability across all assigned stores.
- Review sales trends, KPIs, and productivity data to spot opportunities and translate them into action plans.
- Work with Store Managers to set and achieve sales targets.
- Track conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, and client retention, and use the findings to improve performance.
- Ensure company campaigns, promotional activity, and clienteling initiatives are implemented consistently.
- Recruit, develop, and keep strong retail leaders and sales teams.
- Coach Store Managers and Assistant Managers to build leadership strength and prepare for future succession needs.
- Carry out store visits, performance discussions, and ongoing development reviews.
- Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, performance issues, corrective action, and workforce planning.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance environment aligned with Wolford values.
- Maintain standards for visual presentation, inventory control, loss prevention, and operational compliance.
- Monitor labor productivity and payroll usage to support business goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements.
- Work with HR, Finance, Operations, and Marketing on cross-functional business initiatives.
- Protect and elevate the luxury service experience across all locations.
- Support local client-building efforts and VIP engagement strategies.
- Find ways to strengthen loyalty, repeat visits, and brand visibility in the market.
- Act as the main field leader for the Las Vegas and Southern California market.
- Travel regularly to stores and conduct business reviews in person.
- Communicate priorities clearly and provide direction to store leadership teams.
- Serve as the link between field operations and corporate leadership.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of multi-store retail leadership experience.
- At least 5 years of store leadership experience, ideally in luxury retail, premium fashion, or specialty retail.
- Proven success leading multiple stores or high-volume locations and managing strong teams.
- Solid commercial judgment with the ability to read sales data and turn insights into action.
- Background in talent growth, performance management, and succession planning.
- Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the Las Vegas and Southern California market.
- Ability to build and sustain a client-focused culture using clienteling tools and data-led outreach to improve loyalty, repeat business, and revenue growth.
- Comfort using retail reporting platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and business analytics tools.
