Role overview
NNC is hiring a full-time Arabic / Bilingual Copywriter to work remotely or on-site in the UAE. The role calls for a creative writer who can produce compelling Arabic and/or English copy for a wide range of brand and marketing communication needs while keeping messaging consistent, culturally relevant, and aligned with client goals.
Key responsibilities
- Create engaging copy in Arabic and/or English for press releases, social media, campaigns, websites, advertisements, corporate communications, email marketing, video scripts, and promotional assets.
- Adjust tone, style, and messaging to fit different brands, audiences, and communication channels.
- Translate and localize content between Arabic and English while preserving brand voice and cultural relevance.
- Work closely with account managers, designers, digital marketers, and PR teams to shape effective content plans.
- Research topics thoroughly to keep copy accurate, timely, and relevant to market trends.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure strong grammar, clarity, and overall quality.
- Make sure all deliverables match client objectives, brand standards, and campaign requirements.
- Handle multiple assignments at once and deliver work within agreed deadlines.
Qualifications and skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, Arabic, or a similar field is required.
- At least 2 to 4 years of experience in copywriting, content development, journalism, PR, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading ability in Arabic and/or English.
- Native-level Arabic is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual candidates should also have a strong command of English.
- Prior exposure to agency work is considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing, social media channels, and content best practices is important.
- The ideal candidate should be able to write creatively without losing accuracy or brand consistency.
- Good organization and time-management skills are needed.
- Must be comfortable working independently in a remote setup or collaborating in an on-site environment.
Preferred background
- Experience in PR, corporate communications, or integrated marketing campaigns is preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO-driven writing and digital content optimization is a plus.
- Experience producing content for government, corporate, lifestyle, hospitality, technology, or consumer brands will be valued.
- A portfolio of Arabic and/or bilingual writing samples is desirable.
