Analyst/Specialist/Consultant, Enterprise Analytics

This position sits within AIA Singapore’s Enterprise Analytics function and focuses on reshaping the company’s analytics environment through high-quality business intelligence solutions. The aim is to support growth, streamline operations, and lower costs by turning data into practical business value.

What you will do

• Partner with a range of stakeholders to design and roll out business intelligence dashboards for large-scale strategic programmes.
• Work alongside the Data Science team to translate data into clear insights and recommendations that support business priorities.
• Take ownership of existing dashboards by maintaining them and improving their functionality over time.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders so that analytics solutions align with business expectations.
• Develop a deep understanding of business needs and contribute advice on effective dashboard design and visual presentation during discussions and presentations.
• Share business intelligence dashboarding practices and help raise analytical standards across the organisation.
• Support innovation in analytics by tracking industry developments and assessing newer, better BI methods for adoption.

What we are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree.
• Between 3 and 5 years of practical experience in building business intelligence dashboards.
• Strong Tableau skills, including building dashboards from the ground up and designing semantic layers.
• Exposure to Alteryx workflow development would be an advantage.
• Ability to write SQL queries and extract data from Databricks or other Spark-based platforms.
• Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Very good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate well in a team and work independently when needed.
• A genuine drive to challenge conventions and improve business intelligence dashboards.
