About the Company

Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) and Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC operate through a wholly owned affiliate, Arabian Chevron Phillips Petrochemical Company (ACP). ACP is part of three joint ventures in the Eastern Province Industrial City of Al-Jubail: Saudi Chevron Phillips Company (SCP), Jubail Chevron Phillips Company (JCP), and Saudi Polymers Company (SPCo), which is jointly owned with National Petrochemical Company (Petrochem).

Role Overview

This position is responsible for preparing, and where required entering, payroll and benefits information into the SAP/EC payroll system with a high level of accuracy. The role also runs payroll cycles to make sure employees receive salaries and benefits on time each month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review payroll data for accuracy and confirm that all supporting documents are complete.
  • Apply early salary and progression compensation in line with policy and the approved matrix.
  • Verify that system inputs and calculations are correct for earnings and deductions, including hours worked, leave, overtime, bonuses, reimbursements, allowances, and benefits.
  • Process periodic and off-cycle payments such as advance allowances, medical, furnishing, tuition fees, and travel reimbursements according to policy and maintain proper records.
  • Maintain payroll files in both paper and electronic form by updating pay changes, employee status updates, and related adjustments.
  • Support payroll reconciliation activities with the finance team.
  • Handle employee and management queries, complaints, and issues related to payroll and benefits.
  • Investigate payroll variances and resolve discrepancies.
  • Keep proper records for payroll-related transactions, including GOSI, leave records, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate payroll changes with stakeholders and prepare reports for management review, approval, and audit purposes.
  • Ensure payroll operations follow company policies, procedures, industry requirements, tax rules, and deduction laws.
  • Support compliance with the Wage Protection System and help address all related matters.
  • Submit payroll information reports to the supervisor.
  • Follow environmental, health, safety, and quality requirements to support employee safety, legal compliance, product and service quality, and responsible environmental practices.
  • Carry out responsibilities linked to operational excellence as assigned in the schedule of duties.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the assigned area.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned by the Supervisor, Payroll and Benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or MIS.
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in payroll, preferably within the petrochemical sector.
  • More than 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP/EC Payroll.
  • CIPD certification is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret business publications, professional documents, technical instructions, and government regulations.
  • Strong written communication skills for reports, business correspondence, and procedure documents.
  • Ability to present information clearly and answer questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
