Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Monitoring Analyst to join the Monitoring area and support operational control, data validation, and process improvement activities within the capital markets environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Check that information coming from multiple systems is complete, accurate, and consistent.
- Identify, investigate, and help resolve settlement mismatches or data discrepancies.
- Support the tracking and resolution of operational incidents and contingencies.
- Help automate manual tasks using technological tools such as Excel, SQL, and scripting.
- Create and maintain documentation for team processes and procedures.
- Suggest improvements that increase operational efficiency and reduce risk exposure.
- Work with internal teams such as Risk, Data, Product, and Commercial to help ensure correct settlement outcomes.
Required Profile
- Current university student in a field such as Economics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Systems, or a related discipline.
- Previous exposure to Capital Markets, Finance, or Technology is considered a plus.
- Strong knowledge of SQL is essential, including query building, joins, GROUP BY, subqueries, and data extraction/analysis.
- Python skills are required for data handling, automation, and scripting; experience with libraries such as pandas is ideal and will be assessed in the interview.
- Advanced Excel is needed, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and working with large datasets; knowledge of macros/VBA is desirable.
Work Schedule
The position follows a hybrid arrangement with 3 remote days and 2 on-site days per week. The working hours are from 10:00 to 18:30.
