Job overview
This role is for a composite aircraft technician based in Changi, Singapore. The position is contract-based and requires on-site work with shift arrangements.
Key duties
- Carry out taper sanding, wet-layup work, and prepreg repairs on aircraft components.
- Interpret aircraft manuals and execute repairs in line with the stated procedures.
- Keep the work area orderly, clean, and free from hazardous items or conditions.
- Follow all safety procedures at all times, including requirements related to working at heights.
- Handle additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in composite repairs.
- Experience with radomes, fairing panels, cowlings, and hot-bond repairs will be considered an advantage.
- Strong command of English, with good spoken and written communication skills.
- A positive work attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with shift-based working hours.
- Willing to work in Singapore.
