Role overview

Sabena Engineering is an international aviation services company supporting civil and military operators across a broad fleet portfolio, including Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed, regional aircraft, military aircraft, and rotorcraft. Key responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repair work on a variety of civil aircraft, including Boeing and Airbus models, at Kigali airport.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks and checks according to the maintenance plan, as well as respond to issues that arise unexpectedly.
  • Support both line maintenance and base maintenance assignments across different aircraft maintenance projects.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship in all maintenance activities, including aircraft, components, and related documentation.
  • Review technical material, understand engineering drawings, and use aircraft manuals to guide work.
  • Work closely with other teams to deliver the best possible service to clients.

Candidate profile

  • Must hold a valid Part-66 B1 licence with an Airbus A330 type rating.
  • Should have at least 3 years of experience in aircraft line or base maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting, sound judgment, and clear communication skills are essential.
  • Must be adaptable and willing to work weekends when urgent aircraft maintenance is required.
  • English proficiency must be fluent.
