Job description
About the Team
The Regional People Team operates as a centre of excellence for policy design, enterprise-wide initiatives, and oversight of local HR operations across all markets. The team is focused on improving HR service delivery through stronger systems and broader AI adoption, with the goal of helping leaders tackle regional workforce and organisational challenges while creating a better employee experience. As AI continues to shape the workplace, the team is preparing to accelerate AI transformation within People operations, including employee support through AI agents and stronger organisational insight through predictive modelling.
Role Overview
This role is focused on identifying and supporting AI opportunities within operations workflows, particularly where they can improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and risk management. You will help introduce AI use cases, develop practical operating guidance, and support adoption across operations teams. The role also involves coordinating initiatives across functions, gathering feedback and data, and contributing to basic AI governance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Spot opportunities to apply AI in operations processes to improve productivity, quality, cost, and risk outcomes.
- Assist in creating and launching AI use cases, standard operating procedures, and playbooks for operations teams.
- Conduct demos, training sessions, and onboarding activities to drive usage of AI tools.
- Coordinate cross-functional AI projects, including planning, follow-ups, schedules, and progress tracking.
- Gather user feedback and performance data to refine and enhance AI solutions.
- Contribute to the definition and monitoring of KPIs that measure AI adoption and business impact.
- Support foundational AI governance work such as usage rules, guardrails, and documentation.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in HR, operations, business operations, project management, business analysis, or a related area.
- Prior exposure to HR functions such as HR business partnering, talent acquisition, people analytics, or HR operations is an advantage.
- Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage timelines, track deliverables, and keep stakeholders aligned.
- Sound commercial judgment and the ability to understand workflows, identify friction points, and define meaningful success measures.
- Comfort working with data tools such as spreadsheets and dashboards, and turning findings into practical insights.
- Basic knowledge of AI products and concepts, including what large language models can and cannot do and common business applications.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work well across different teams.
