Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, design, and assess new AI model architectures extending beyond traditional Transformer methods.

• Create prototypes of innovative AI architectures and validate their performance using comprehensive experiments, benchmarking, and ablation studies.
• Produce high-quality research publications for top-tier machine learning conferences, journals, and preprint platforms.

Qualifications

• Robust academic or industry research experience in machine learning with a focus on AI model architectures.
• Proven publication history in prestigious AI or machine learning forums such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, COLM, ACL, EMNLP, or arXiv.
• In-depth knowledge of neural network designs, sequence modeling, attention mechanisms, optimization, and training behaviors.
• Practical experience building machine learning models using frameworks like PyTorch or JAX.
• Strong skills in experimental design, critical data analysis, and clear communication of research outcomes.
• Comfortable contributing in a fast-paced startup environment that demands initiative and collaboration.
• Expertise or familiarity with alternative architectures to Transformers, including long-context models, state-space models, hybrid designs, or memory-efficient AI systems, is highly desirable.
