Job description
Role overview
This position supports architectural planning and delivery for site-based projects, with a focus on keeping design outputs aligned to project management goals and deadlines. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and outside consultants to ensure high-quality project delivery for customers within committed timelines.
Design quality and concept development
- Work with senior leadership to shape the product concept and translate it into a clear design brief.
- Suggest practical enhancements in planning and design that improve usability and overall experience.
- Prepare project specifications and share design inputs that help the team make timely, well-informed decisions.
Cross-functional coordination
- Coordinate actively with all internal departments and external consultants involved in the project.
- Review drawings and help ensure smooth flow of information between all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication and resolve concerns in an organized and timely way.
Project deliverables and standards
- Carry out design reviews, assess detailed design documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Evaluate consultant performance to confirm alignment with quality expectations and support on-time delivery of outputs.
- Provide prompt decisions on key design and execution issues.
Site execution support
- Study site conditions and understand how they affect design intent and on-ground execution.
- Inspect site progress and verify that implementation matches approved drawings and specifications.
- Work with stakeholders to remove execution bottlenecks and keep site work moving smoothly.
Process improvement
- Promote a high-performance work culture that helps teams operate effectively.
- Support process mapping and implementation efforts to strengthen governance, quality, and delivery reliability.
Additional information
This role requires strong judgment, professional communication, and the ability to build effective working relationships across functions. It also requires hands-on familiarity with architecture and interior design projects, especially in commercial and mixed-use developments, along with confidence in design software and documentation tools.
Qualification and experience
A Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is required. The role calls for 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in commercial projects, mixed-use development, architecture, and interior design.
Software and technical skills
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Microsoft PowerPoint, and BIM is required.
