Job description

Role Overview

The Advanced UX Researcher will lead research efforts from planning through delivery, generating insights that inform product direction, experience decisions, and broader business choices. The role spans multiple products and platforms, with a focus on turning user evidence into practical improvements that strengthen the customer experience.

You will work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and other business stakeholders to make sure research outcomes are used throughout the product lifecycle. This position suits someone who is highly strategic, communicates complex ideas clearly, and enjoys collaborating in a fast-moving environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive both qualitative and quantitative research programs across several products, platforms, and audience segments.
  • Create research plans, choose suitable methods, manage timelines, and build phased research roadmaps.
  • Convert research output into clear recommendations and insights that teams can act on.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and business leaders to align research goals and help shape product strategy.
  • Run workshops, presentations, and collaborative working sessions that build alignment and shared understanding.
  • Develop and improve research standards, frameworks, best practices, and efficient operating processes.
  • Coach researchers and cross-functional colleagues on research methods, interpretation, and insight development.
  • Promote user-centered design thinking across the organization.
  • Follow all relevant company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Take on other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related area is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in UX research, including ownership of large or complex studies.
  • Strong command of qualitative and quantitative methods, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, data analysis, journey mapping, and concept validation.
  • Background in agile, cross-functional product development settings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with enterprise, technical, or platform products is a plus.
  • Knowledge of design thinking, service design, and workshop facilitation is beneficial.
  • Experience creating, improving, or standardizing research operations and scalable frameworks is highly desirable.

Equal Opportunity Statement

The employer is committed to equal opportunity and diversity. Hiring decisions are made without regard to race, religion, color, ethnic origin, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
