What You'll Do

• Apply data science, machine learning, and advanced analytical techniques to address business challenges and deliver practical insights.
• Undertake and complete intricate projects utilizing statistical tools, big data analysis, and machine learning methodologies.
• Create novel analytical solutions, predictive models, and automated processes to bolster commercial strategy.
• Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to derive meaningful conclusions.
• Keep abreast of emerging data engineering technologies and trends, assessing and implementing suitable tools.
• Work with the BI team to enhance reporting and data visualizations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Data & Insights team on the development and deployment of data science models.
• Provide analytical commentary on prevailing industry trends and their potential impacts.
• Clearly present recommendations and findings to diverse audiences.
• Quantify and report on the business impact of implemented models.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• Additional training or certifications in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, Analytics, or Programming are beneficial.
• Demonstrated expertise in SQL, Python, R, Java, and/or CSS.
• Experience in operationalizing machine learning models and familiarity with MLOps/CI-CD workflows.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• A solid understanding of data management principles and the data lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills for engaging in focused discussions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for presenting to various group sizes.
