Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site role in Lucknow for an Admission Officer. The position focuses on supporting prospective students and their families through the admission journey with accurate, helpful, and timely guidance.
Key Responsibilities
You will explain available courses, exam-prep programs, fee details, and centre facilities to interested students and parents. The role includes managing walk-in and phone enquiries, conducting counselling discussions, handling admission forms and related paperwork, and updating admission and CRM records correctly.
You will also coordinate with academic and operations teams for assessments, orientation sessions, and class start dates. In addition, you will maintain regular communication with students and parents, assist with local outreach and marketing activities, attend events and seminars, and contribute toward enrolment and conversion goals in a professional, student-focused way.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication, along with the ability to counsel students and parents effectively.
- Good interpersonal skills, customer handling ability, and a solution-oriented approach to resolving concerns.
- Comfort with basic computer use, record management, data entry, and MS Office tools.
- Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills for managing multiple enquiries and deadlines.
- Sales mindset with negotiation, persistence, and follow-up ability to improve conversion rates.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Prior exposure to admissions, counselling, or education services is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Lucknow, with flexibility during peak admission periods, including weekends or extended hours when required.
- Familiarity with India’s test-prep ecosystem, especially NEET, JEE, and other competitive exams, is an advantage.
