Role overview

Join Etihad Airways’ Airport Operations team in a key administrative position supporting the handling of transit and emergency visa workflows for guests moving through Abu Dhabi. This role is located at Zayed International Airport and is part of a nonstop operational environment.

The schedule follows a compulsory 24/7 rotating shift pattern with 12-hour shifts: two day shifts, two night shifts, then four days off. Candidates should be prepared to work both daytime and overnight shifts as part of an always-on airport operation. This is not a standard office-hours position.

The opportunity suits a UAE National who is highly organized, comfortable working in a busy airport setting, and committed to delivering accurate, professional support to government-related processes.

What you'll do

  • Handle administrative documents, forms, and records in line with established procedures.
  • Support processing for transit visa, emergency visa, and related operational activities.
  • Draft reports, summaries, and supporting documents needed by the business.
  • Coordinate submissions and follow-ups with government bodies and outside stakeholders when necessary.
  • Reply to routine questions from internal teams and external customers in a prompt and professional way.
  • Keep records, databases, and filing systems accurate, organized, and confidential.
  • Work with business software and systems to manage daily tasks and reporting.
  • Track applications, paperwork, and approvals to help meet service standards.
  • Assist with administrative initiatives and operational projects as required.
  • Support colleagues to maintain smooth day-to-day activity in a shift-based environment.

Requirements

  • UAE National holding a Family Book.
  • High School Certificate with at least 2 years of relevant administrative experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with no prior experience required.
  • Background in administration, customer service, government liaison, document processing, or similar support work is an advantage.
  • Experience preparing or submitting applications to government authorities is preferred.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks accurately at once.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general business systems.
  • Must be willing to work a rotating 24/7 schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Experience in an operational, customer-facing, or airport environment is an added advantage.

Additional information
