Job description
Role overview
This part-time contract opportunity is for an Administrative Coordinator based in Ireland, with a hybrid or remote working setup. The assignment runs until May 2028 and requires commitment for approximately 2 to 2.5 days per week.
The role supports a national programme aimed at strengthening sexual health and wellbeing outcomes for people living with prostate cancer across Ireland. You will work alongside clinical professionals, healthcare partners, and an Irish Advisory Committee to help keep projects moving, coordinate engagement activities, and monitor delivery across several workstreams.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee administrative and project coordination tasks across several related workstreams.
- Arrange meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Assist with the coordination of community, research, and clinical funding initiatives.
- Help organise a national stakeholder event and the communications linked to it.
- Keep project plans, action trackers, milestone logs, and progress reports up to date.
- Serve as a main contact point for stakeholders throughout Ireland, including clinical teams and healthcare organisations.
- Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will bring experience in administration, project coordination, programme support, or a similar position. Strong organisation, careful attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication are essential. You should be comfortable balancing several priorities, engaging with multiple stakeholders, working independently, and taking responsibility for your tasks.
Experience gained in healthcare, hospital administration, not-for-profit settings, or public sector environments would be beneficial. Familiarity with the Irish healthcare system is also preferred.
Why this role
This position offers the chance to contribute to an important national healthcare initiative. It also provides flexible part-time working, a strong level of autonomy, and the opportunity to collaborate with leading clinicians, healthcare professionals, and wider stakeholders across Ireland.
