Role Overview
This position serves as the primary front-line contact for customers whose homes or businesses have been affected by water, fire, or storm damage. The role combines administrative support, office coordination, bookkeeping, and customer service in a fast-paced restoration environment. Experience in insurance, construction, or the trades is considered an advantage.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support the business owners and assist customers by keeping office operations organized, handling phone and email communication in a courteous and professional manner, and contributing as a positive, dependable presence in the workplace.
Key Duties
- Carry out routine administrative work, including bookkeeping in QuickBooks.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Arrange crew assignments and job schedules.
- Enter job file data carefully and accurately.
- Track subcontractor certifications, insurance documents, and related records.
- Complete applications for preferred vendor programs.
- Put processes in place and maintain them so key performance metrics align with franchise targets.
- Keep employee files and records accurate and up to date.
- Monitor local, state, and federal compliance requirements and completion of training.
- Provide support to other departments whenever needed.

Employment Details
This is a full-time, onsite position located in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area.
Compensation
Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements
- High school diploma required; an associate degree or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office and QuickBooks, or similar software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and polite phone manner.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good organization, planning, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to learn new and proprietary software quickly.
- Xactimate certification is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Self-driven and goal-focused attitude.
