Role Overview
The Administrative Assistant for Clinical Operations will provide direct operational support to Clinical Operations leadership. This position centers on keeping provider onboarding, offboarding, communication, and access-management workflows organized and moving efficiently. The role helps ensure internal teams and providers stay aligned through clear coordination and timely follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate provider onboarding from the hiring stage through final handoff, including progress tracking, communication, document collection, access setup requests, and training coordination.
- Manage provider offboarding by working with cross-functional partners, handling communications, arranging access removal, and maintaining records.
- Administer access across multiple platforms by submitting requests, resolving straightforward issues, and escalating technical concerns when needed.
- Prepare and send provider-facing and internal messages on behalf of leadership while maintaining reusable message templates.
- Set up meetings and training sessions, including invitations, agendas, attendance tracking, and follow-up tasks.
- Update operational trackers, SOPs, checklists, and documentation, and compile reports for leadership.
- Act as the initial contact for directing provider questions and operational requests to the right teams.
- Assist with special projects and related coordination work as assigned.
Requirements
- Well-developed organizational abilities with dependable execution and follow-through.
- Comfort handling multiple trackers, deadlines, and competing priorities at once.
- Strong professional writing and communication skills.
- Background supporting cross-functional work in fast-moving healthcare operations.
- Exposure to provider onboarding, EMR systems, credentialing, or healthcare administration is an advantage.
Compensation
The role pays $28.85 per hour.
